AI without borders: When two countries write the future together

At evosoft, we don’t just follow the future - we shape it: we inspire, create, develop, and bring the power of digitalization to the world. The X-Country AI Innovation Challenge is a perfect example of how innovation becomes an international language. This project demonstrated that collaboration and creativity can transcend borders to deliver real business value. This is the mindset that inspires the IT industry worldwide.

Teams from both countries worked together in continuous online connection throughout the day. In Hungary, participants set up their base in the Multivibrator room, while in Germany, they worked from the Showroom, coordinating joint efforts from there.

The challenges were provided by two business areas:

• IPS Engineers

• Siemens Energy

They brought us real, everyday business problems and joined not only the opening session but also the closing presentations. We hope this collaboration will lay the foundation for further joint projects.

A total of 34 participants worked on the challenge, organized into 4 teams with a mix of Hungarian and German colleagues. Over the two days, highly diverse and technically exciting AI solutions were developed. The teams worked with technologies such as:

• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)

• Vector databases

• Graph databases

• AI API integrations

• Classic ML models

• Plus several unique hybrid approaches.

The great atmosphere was fueled not only by professional excitement but also by delicious treats: pogácsa, cookies, gingerbread from Germany, and Hungarian Christmas sweets sent by the Hungarian organizers to Germany, perfectly capturing the spirit of international collaboration.

The two-day event concluded with an inspiring showcase where each team presented its solution. The results were not only technologically impressive but also opened new opportunities for collaboration. Initiatives like this motivate not just the participants but the entire IT industry: cross-border knowledge sharing and co-creation are the engines of innovation.
