Why World Usability Day Matters
World Usability Day is a global initiative dedicated to promoting user-centered design and improving the usability of products and services. At evosoft, UX is a top priority and a core strength. With our professional UX team and strong focus on human-centered design, participating in this event was a natural choice. It’s an opportunity to share knowledge, inspire colleagues, and reinforce our commitment to creating intuitive, accessible, and delightful experiences for users.
Highlights of the Day
🕵️ UX Detective Game: Many colleagues joined the challenge to spot usability issues across our offices. No one hit the perfect score, but four clever detectives walked away with prizes!
☕ UX Coffee Corner: Lively discussions on UX, usability, and accessibility over coffee in the Univerzum kitchen.
📚 UX Laws on Display: Posters with QR codes helped colleagues dive deeper into some principles of UX.
💡 Online Survey: Gathered insights on what support teams need to create more human-centered products.
Key Results
Participation: Many players in the UX Detective game; dozens joined coffee chats and explored UX laws.
Winners: Patrik Juhász, Gergő Kránicz, Beáta Ginál-Oszvald, and Orsolya Kiss-Kovács took home prizes.
Survey Findings:
50% of respondents feel not confident at all applying UX principles.
Top areas needing support: usability testing (87%), UI design (52%), user research (51%), prototyping (51%).
Most requested support: joint projects with UX experts, templates/tools, practical workshops, and design reviews.
