Industry and university on common paths

We recently conducted a workshop for the EELISA project team at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in Univerzum. Given that BME is our privileged university partner, the collaboration with EELISA represents an additional opportunity for both parties.

A small delegation from the BME EELISA project visited us to learn more about evosoft 's activities and explore opportunities for effective long-term cooperation with a focus on education. Throughout the program, visitors were presented with a model of a production line in the DEX showroom, demonstrating the principles of Industry 4.0 digitalization. Subsequently, they explored unique developments in the electronics and mechanical foundations of industrial equipment at the drive technology laboratory. At the conclusion of the program, the suggestion to organize a joint interactive workshop for students from EELISA partner universities was proposed. Additionally, there was a proposal for a collaborative innovative competition, in which students from partner universities would propose optimized redesigns for current industrial equipment.

The Budapest University of Technology and Economics not only aims to uphold its leading position in engineering education in Hungary but is also actively contributing to the creation of an international, unified European engineering education through the EELISA university association. This will afford BME students a myriad of opportunities to acquire expert knowledge from some of Europe's leading universities. Larger companies in the market, such as ours, have the opportunity to engage in joint research with academics and researchers from international partner universities. Furthermore, by participating in various professional EELISA communities, they can address significant issues such as sustainability or equal opportunities.

Currently, one of evosoft 's international trainee positions is being filled by a student from an EELISA partner university, providing them with not only professional but also international experience. The partnership between the University of Technology and evosoft, in collaboration with Siemens, spans over a decade and continues seamlessly, with the shared goal of supporting the education of the future generation of engineers.
