Let's create the future together - Generative AI Day @evosoft

There has never been such a serious and large-scale event @evosoft as Generative AI Day!

The conquest of artificial intelligence (AI) is unfolding before our eyes, extending even into areas such as industrial automation. This trend is radically changing established practices. Whether this trend merely passes us by or we choose to ride this wave, it profoundly impacts our present and future.

Alina Engbert (Digital Innovation Manager, Siemens), Tünde Balogh (Head of Innovation, Head of Automation and HMI, evosoft Hungary Ltd.), Sophia Schley (Digital Innovation Manager, Siemens)

As part of the innovation program, we held a special and large-scale professional event at evosoft. We dedicated an entire day to introducing our colleagues to the world of Generative AI. All evosoft colleagues were invited to participate in the professional event. Two Siemens experts on the subject, Alina Engbert and Sophia Schley, Digital Innovation Manager, visited Univerzum HQ Budapest.

There was immense interest in the event: tickets for the lectures and workshop opportunities sold out within minutes. The online space was also packed, with a full house, and questions related to the topic just kept pouring in.

We not only learned more from them about what Generative AI technology means in general, but also delved into specific use cases within the Service / Testing / Development areas. Naturally, everyone was curious about the implications of introducing Generative AI technology to our code.

We explored the outcomes of generating a job profile based on previously known data, examined the connections between state-of-the art technology frameworks, considered how we can practically use a chatbot in our daily work and the possible dangers that an AI avatar might pose.

We also discussed questions such as:

  • can AI be taught to detect AI?

  • how can the human factor (human-in-the-loop) be taken into account?

  • how do we design and develop reliable AI tools?

  • how can AI handle complex topics and requests?

We acquired a wealth of new knowledge, yet it feels like we’ve only scratched the surface or touched the tip of the iceberg of a topic undergoing significant innovation all around us. The industry is still exploring the potential for Generative AI, and we, too, are in search of the right role and application for this transformative technology.

Generative AI Day was just the beginning – an introduction to the future that we are actively shaping at evosoft.
