🚀 From Ground to Space — Partnership with the BME Suborbitals Team

At evosoft, we believe that innovation doesn’t stop at software — it reaches for the stars. Since last spring, we’ve been proud partners of BME Suborbitals, a passionate student competition team from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, who are ambitiously developing a complete research rocket system from the ground up.

But how does Hungary’s largest software house connect to rocket science?

Much more closely than you might think! 💡

  • 🎯 Our Impact: Fueling Innovation with Expertise

  • 💰 Financial Support: We’re helping them get to the launch pad — literally — by supporting their participation in Europe’s largest student rocketry competition, EuRoC.

  • 🛠 Prototyping Power: Through TinkerLAB, our state-of-the-art innovation lab, we provide cutting-edge tools, special materials, and technical expertise to help them build better and faster.

  • 🔌 Embedded Software & Electronics Consulting: Our best minds in electronics and embedded systems are mentoring the team, helping them design more reliable and efficient electrical systems.

  • 📈 Agile Management Mentoring: As their team has grown to over 100 students, our support in leadership development and agile methodologies is helping them stay organized and driven like a real-world engineering company.

  • 🧪 A Rocket Full of Science

The Suborbitals team isn’t just building a rocket — they’re building a flying lab. From propulsion to avionics, parachutes to payloads, they’re conducting physical and chemical experiments at near-supersonic speeds.

🎉 Milestone Achieved: A Perfect Test Flight

At the end of July, their hard work quite literally took off. Their new propulsion system, powered by solid propellant developed by the university team, launched successfully — along with a newly designed parachute system. The result? A 100% successful flight test. 🚀👏

A huge thank you to all our evosoft colleagues who contributed their time, expertise, and creativity to this amazing project.

You’re not just supporting a team — you’re helping launch the next generation of engineers, scientists, and innovators. 🙌🌟

Let’s keep pushing boundaries. Together. 🌍✨
