The kids are back in the office!

Ever wondered what engineers and IT specialists actually do at evosoft? What does mom or dad do at work all day? This time we did not just explain but showed it to the kids. 🧑‍🏫👨‍👦👩‍👧‍👦🙂

One of evosoft’s greatest strengths is its workplace community. 🫶 This community is not just a foundation for our shared knowledge, but a true example of how we support each other. Our self-organized parent community has been especially busy this year, putting together a range of attractive programmes and workshops. One of these highlights was the Kids in the office event, which we hosted for the second time across all three of our locations: Budapest, Miskolc and Szeged as well.

Nearly 200 children joined us with their parents, turning our offices into vibrant community spaces for a day.

In Budapest, kids explored themed stations featuring science and creative experiments, arts and crafts, computer building, and even a baby-friendly play corner. At the Scratch coding booth, tweens got to create their own games and animations, spun the evosoft prize wheel, and meet the star of the show – TinkerLAB’s robot dog, who definitely stole the spotlight!

In Miskolc the fun was in full swing with robot building, drawing, board games, and even talking fruits! One of the crowd favourites was Flattering Bob who handed out compliments to kids and parents.

In Szeged, children got a close look at our our newest innovation lab, including 3D printing demonstrations. They also enjoyed activities like glass painting, board games, LEGO building, billiards, darts, temporary tattoos and sticker art.

Across all three locations our kids were on a mission: visit each booth, try out the activities, and complete their challenge. Those who conquered every station didn’t just leave with great memories – they also took home a special gift!

The goal of Kids in the office was twofold: to show children what their parents do at evosoft, and to spark their interest about technical, engineering, and IT careers in a fun and inspiring way.

We’re incredibly proud of our parent community – a passionate, active and close-knit community that brings family-friendly events like this to life at evosoft.
