AI ahead in STEM – inspiring conference organized by EJMSZ

evosoft joins the panel to shape future with AI: short, impactful, and highlighting the AI-in-STEM theme and evosoft’s role.

How can artificial intelligence support education and technical career orientation?

These were the questions we explored at this year’s EJMSZ conference, where technology, education, and inspiration went hand in hand. The event’s chief patron was Prof. Dr. László Palkovics, Government Commissioner for Artificial Intelligence,  greeted participants via a video created with AI – a clear demonstration of the topic’s strategic importance.

Throughout the day, exciting presentations and inspiring panel discussions followed one another. Representatives from the corporate and educational sectors – Ericsson, evosoft, Nokia, Emerson, Knorr-Bremse – debated in panels how AI could reshape the future for the next generations of engineers.

Our company was represented by Katalin Herczeg, Marketing Communication and University Relations Coordinator, in the panel discussion titled “Can AI Help Us Get Ahead in STEM Orientation?” alongside distinguished speakers such as István Gódor (Ericsson), Tamás Nemes (Nokia), Péter Kismődi (Aumovio), Roland Jakab (HUN-REN), and István Wahl (Knorr-Bremse).

In their presentations, Roland Jakab (HUN-REN), Dávid Csurgó (GDE MIT), and Lilla Becsei (SkillX) showcased how science and AI intersect, highlighted Hungary’s position in AI-based education, and shared international best practices for applying AI in career orientation.

The program concluded with interactive workshops, where participants collaborated to brainstorm how AI can be used even more effectively to promote STEM fields among young people.

This day proved one thing: artificial intelligence is not just technology – it is a key to inspiring the talents of the future.
