Public speaking at evosoft: Toastmasters Area Contest highlights
evosoft recently became a vibrant hub of inspiration and personal development as it hosted the Toastmasters Area Contest, bringing together passionate speakers and evaluators from multiple clubs. The event was organized and hosted by the evotalk Budapest Toastmasters Club, welcoming fellow clubs SzóDa, Saturday Toastmasters and Voice of Blue to our office.
The contest took place in person, creating an energetic, engaging atmosphere where participants competed in the Inspirational Speech and Evaluation categories. Beyond the competition itself, the event was a powerful demonstration of evosoft’s commitment to continuous learning, communication excellence and community building.
evotalk not only provided the venue but also played a key role in the organization of the contest. László Balatincz, this year’s Area Director, served as the contest host, while the role of Chief Judge was fulfilled by our club president, Tamás Sályi. The event also featured two high‑quality target speeches: our Vice President Education and two‑time Division winner, Gergely Kovács, delivered the Hungarian target speech, and Enikő Nagy, Vice President Public Relations, presented the English target speech for Evaluation contestants.
In addition to these visible roles, evotalk members contributed in several other capacities to ensure the smooth running of the contest. In line with Toastmasters contest regulations, these roles are not published by name. We would also like to extend our thanks to Attila Partali for his valuable support during the organization and execution of the event.
The contest unfolded in a fantastic atmosphere, with contestants delivering confident, high‑energy performances – something the event photos clearly reflect. Beyond celebrating individual achievements, the day was also a learning experience, offering practical insights and techniques that help speakers grow more confident and impactful on stage.

In the Hungarian Inspirational Speech category, Tamás Pósa earned an impressive third place.
Following her first‑place finish in the Hungarian Evaluation category, Eszter Csüllög will represent evotalk at the Toastmasters Division Contest this year.
