How to win RobonAUT with “Sufnituning”?
In this episode, we dive into the world of autonomous vehicles with a special occasion in mind: evosoft has been supporting the BME RobonAUT competition for 15 years – and this year one of our own colleagues was part of the winning team “Sufnituning” (MacGyvering).
As the new semester kicks off at BME VIK, registration opens for one of the faculty’s most popular competitions: RobonAUT. But before we close the chapter on the 2025 race, we talked in our podcast with Domokos Kiss, the competition coordinator and Associate Professor at BME VIK, and Dani Varga from evosoft, member of the winning team. The conversation is hosted by our colleague András Dezső, who brings both technical insights and personal stories to the table.
RobonAUT is more than just a competition – it’s a true engineering challenge where creativity, perseverance, and teamwork are everything. Tune in to hear how some clever life hacking led to victory, what real-world lessons differ from simulations, and why university students should get involved. Plus, learn how the evosoft - BME collaboration supports the next generation of engineers. Inspiring stories, hands-on experience, and a touch of robotics – all in one exciting episode!
