NextARCH: evosoft, Valoro Consulting, and BME HSDSLab launch joint Software Architect training programme

evosoft, in collaboration with Valoro Consulting and BME HSDSLab, is launching an intensive 12-day premium training programme tailored for practicing professionals – developers, tech leads, and engineers. The goal of the NextARCH programme is to accelerate the journey for developers toward mastering software architecture, enabling them to confidently take on roles as software, test, and service architects. In addition to technical expertise, the training also focuses on developing soft skills and gaining advanced insights into artificial intelligence.

NextARCH is a 12-day training programme delivered over several months, built on three pillars:

  • Hard skills (7 days): covering modern architectures, technology decision-making, scalability, system design, and best practices.

  • Soft skills (4 days): focusing on leading people, teams, and decision-making processes, as well as strengthening client relationships.

  • AI and trends (1 day): exploring what AI is – and isn’t – useful for in architectural roles, how to apply it effectively, when it adds value, and when caution is needed, along with an introduction to the architect’s AI toolkit.

NextARCH offers two levels of training: Foundation and Specialization. The Foundation level spans 9 days and includes 4 days of soft skill development and a dedicated day for AI education. The remaining 4 days focus on specialized professional topics directly related to the architect role.

Three specialization pathways to choose from

The specialization phase of the NextARCH programme spans three days, offering participants a choice between three distinct pathways: Software Architect, Test Architect, and Service Architect. The training is primarily recommended for professionals – developers, testers, and service experts – with at least 3–5 years of experience who are looking to advance their careers into architectural roles, or who are already working as architects and wish to expand and structure their knowledge. In addition to lectures, the programme includes several interactive workshops designed to reinforce learning through practical examples.

The hard skills training is delivered by evosoft professionals with extensive teaching experience. Many of the company’s engineers have been lecturing at universities for years, bringing both educational expertise and hands-on industry knowledge from the front lines of software development. Soft skills development is led by seasoned trainers from Valoro Consulting, while the AI module is taught by researchers from BME’s HSDSLab, who also serve as university instructors.

”More than 200 of our colleagues have already completed our internal architect training programmes. Typically, architects gain the necessary knowledge and experience gradually over the years through their work. With NextARCH, we significantly accelerate this process by delivering well-structured, thoughtfully designed content — and by involving leading experts from Valoro Consulting and BME HSDSLab. What makes this programme truly exciting is the synergy of three distinct perspectives coming together to create something entirely new. By sharing this valuable knowledge with other companies in the industry, we can strengthen the entire Hungarian IT sector — and that’s a long-term benefit for everyone.”
– Péter Zombori, Chief Operating Officer, evosoft Hungary Kft.

“Social and interpersonal skills are essential even in highly technical fields, because architects need soft skills to perform their roles effectively. They lead teams, delegate tasks, and oversee work — and how they do this, how they communicate, and whether they can adapt their leadership style to fit the team or situation is crucial. That’s why the NextARCH programme includes training in team and client communication, assertiveness, and leadership skills such as motivation. We deliver all this through engaging, hands-on scenario-based exercises.”
– Ildikó Csősz, Head of Business, Valoro Consulting

“The goal of the AI training is not to turn participants into AI engineers in a single day. They already have a solid grasp of the basics, so we use this day to help them understand the key characteristics of how AI works, clarify terminology, and build a framework in which they can place both their existing and future knowledge. Clients increasingly request software solutions that incorporate AI as a tool — and architects need to know where AI’s boundaries lie, whether it’s suitable for a given problem, or if another solution would be more appropriate.”
– Dr. Roland Molontay, Associate Professor and Head of HSDSLab, BME (Budapest University of Technology and Economics)

Dániel Kővári and Luca Szarvas

On evosoft’s side, the NextARCH programme is coordinated and streamlined by Dániel Kővári and Luca Szarvas. A total of 30 instructors are involved in the training, ensuring diverse perspectives across modules and allowing each expert to contribute their specialized knowledge to maximize value for participants.

Due to the premium nature of the programme, registration is limited. The first course is set to launch in early November.
