🐭 Micromouse 2.0 – Robot mice in the evosoft maze

On June 19, robot mice took over the evosoft headquarters — but no need to panic, these little machines don’t gnaw, they race! At the Micromouse 2.0 finals, 12 enthusiastic teams and their stylish robot mice competed to see who could escape a 9-square-meter maze in the shortest time.

But this challenge wasn’t just about speed. Teams had to complete a partially pre-assembled robot and develop an efficient algorithm capable of processing sensor data, detecting walls, controlling motors, and calculating the optimal path — all on a highly constrained hardware platform. A true test of engineering skills!

After three months of preparation, the final race was on. The fastest mice were:

đŸ„‡ „KocsĂĄnyos surranó” team – robot mouse „King of Labyrinth”
đŸ„ˆ „MĂ©rƑmĂłkus” team – robot mouse „OdĂŒsszeusz”
đŸ„‰ „Maze Against the Machine” team – robot mouse „Maze Against the Machine”

The final event delivered not only technical brilliance but also excitement and surprises. Thanks to the teams’ enthusiasm and the organizers’ professionalism, the competition turned into a spectacular and inspiring experience.
