So much about the figures. Mentoring offers exhilarating experience and priceless company value. Some of you may already know what it's all about. Yes, it’s our evoCampus mentoring and scholarship programme in Miskolc.

Last week we held the closing of the first semester of evoCampus 2023. This is the 14th time we have had the pleasure of hosting it. It was an amazing feeling to see the preparation on both the organizational and professional sides.

Once again, thanks to the professional support of our mentors, six teams of 2-3 people could present their project material based on the knowledge they had acquired during their stay with us. Our initiative fills a gap: not only can the students of Miskolc University learn the practical side of software development, but we also equip them with soft skills.

A lively conversation over pizza followed the presentations. In return for their excellent performance during the semester, the participants were also presented with a small gift pack.

And what is the real strength of this long-standing initiative?

In addition to professional organization and professionalism, our colleagues' enthusiasm and ambition to pass on the knowledge they have gained in their work and support students are unbroken.

The development of any initiative of this kind involves a lot of preparation, followed by a series of annual meetings with the educational institution, the students, and in-house colleagues working on the various projects. To see the fruits of our labour and the commitment of the fresh, prospective trainees to evosoft at the end of the term is a fantastic feeling of recognition and yes, it was worth it. :)
