Happy birthday, evoCampus! 🎂🚀
10 years, 600 students, endless opportunities – this is how evoCampus builds engineering careers
🎧 Jubilee podcast premiere – Behind the scenes of engineering talent development
Listen to our podcast episode here:
For the 10th anniversary of the evoCampus programme, we created a special podcast that takes you back to the beginnings and reveals how evoCampus has grown into one of the strongest engineering talent-development platforms in the region.
Real engineering work before graduation? Yes, you can get that here.
The evoCampus mentoring program, operating at our Miskolc site, has played a key role for students of the University of Miskolc. For the past decade, through close cooperation with the university, the program has provided Miskolc students with real professional experience, solid technical knowledge, and the confidence they need to begin their careers in engineering or software development. More than 600 students have benefited from the program so far.
Today, every second engineering student at the University of Miskolc meets an evosoft mentor – clear proof of a well‑designed and highly effective talent pipeline.
In the anniversary podcast, Beatrix Huszti, Antal Flaskár and Gábor Kapros share how the programme began, the milestones along the way, and why evoCampus has become one of the most inspiring environments for engineering growth.
🎉 20th semester + 10th birthday – Here’s how we celebrated
The February closing event marked not only the end of the current semester but also the 10-year anniversary of evoCampus.
Once again, student teams showcased impressive projects – some with creative solutions, others with precise engineering execution – winning recognition from mentors and guests alike.
To celebrate this special milestone, we prepared:
🎂 jubilee cakes,
🎁 gifts,
🎙️ and the newly recorded anniversary podcast,
capturing the defining moments of the past decade.
CSR powered by evoCampus – when knowledge becomes community value
In recent years, evoCampus has placed increasing emphasis on ensuring that engineering talent also delivers real social impact. Several student projects now support civil organizations directly.
🐾 CiRMi Radio – A new voice, a new platform, a new era
After previously supporting organizations such as the Dialóg Association and Diósdiak Diósdért, this year’s selected civil partner was CiRMi Radio.
A student team created a brand-new, modern, feature-rich website for the station.
The new platform:
• enables the return of live broadcasts,
• supports a complete digital renewal,
• and provides a stable, modern online presence.
According to the CiRMi team, the development is “insanely useful” and offers a genuine chance for a fresh start – a clear testament to the impact of the students’ work.
Looking ahead: inspiring, developing, and strengthening the talent ecosystem
Within evoCampus, we continue to work toward ensuring that
✨ young engineers receive strong development opportunities,
✨ gain hands-on experience through real projects,
✨ and transform their talent into value for the community.
From the anniversary podcast, you’ll learn:
• how the programme idea was born,
• who the key contributors were over the years,
• and how evoCampus has grown into a talent-development model that has launched countless careers over the past decade.
Happy 10th birthday, evoCampus! 🎂🎈
Here’s to many more years, more talent, and even more opportunities!
