Women engineers: they did it, and why wouldn't they?

You have probably often heard, or even personally experienced, that the number/percentage of women pursuing engineering degrees in higher education in Hungary is very low.

That's why in recent months, we've initiated a series of conversations with our female colleagues to hear their views and experiences of engineering careers from their university years.

As a result of several rounds of discussions, two podcasts were produced, in which 4 female colleagues talk about their personal experiences:

  • What was their experience at university?

  • What is their experience at evosoft now?

  • What is it like to be in this career?

  • Have they ever been subjected to atrocities?

The programme will not only be interesting and encouraging for students looking for a career, but also a way for parents to show their daughters why they should not be afraid of technical education and dispel the notion that engineering is ’not for girls’.

In the first podcast, Bíborka Kaszás, an electrical engineer from Miskolc University and Veronika Láz, a computer engineer from Óbuda University, engaged in a conversation with Imi Horváth.
